Andrew Theodore Trophy - Most Improved Player
MOST VALUABLE PLAYER
The Andrew Theodore Award was proudly dedicated to the club by Andrew, a much-loved member of the Monash Morrow Cricket Club community. His vision for this award was to recognise a player who has shown deep commitment to developing their cricket and then gone on to demonstrate that improvement on the field.
This year, the award was fittingly presented to Amav Khawaja, who bowled superbly throughout the season in the 2XI and established himself as one of their leading bowlers. However, it was his tireless effort at training and relentless desire to improve that truly stood out to members around the club and led to this honour being bestowed upon him. Congratulations, Amav — keep up the fantastic work.
Alastair Mollison Trophy - President’s Trophy
The Alastair Mollison Trophy, also known as the President’s Trophy, recognises outstanding contribution to the club both on and off the field. The award honours Al’s significant role in building the club, and whose work with the Junior Club is now reaping rewards, with many juniors progressing into and excelling in senior cricket.
This year, the award was presented to Shanley Pillai for his contributions both on and off the field throughout the season. It was also wonderful to have Alastair in attendance to help present the award.
Senior Club Champion - 2025/26
Please join us in congratulating Daniel Herft on an outstanding achievement, becoming the youngest player to win this award at just 15 years of age. In his first full season in the 1XI, Daniel scored 343 runs at an average of 24.5 while also taking 9 catches behind the stumps. Not only did he contribute with his skills, His maturity, composure, and confidence in his game speak well beyond his years, and we are incredibly excited to see where his cricket journey takes him. Congratulations, Daniel!
